on a fashionable note: florals galore

Just like spring itself, this season’s fashion collections are filled with fresh florals of all sorts. From fluffy pink peonies to sleek and chic lilies, flower patterns have been spotted all over the runways. Luckily, this couture trend translates fabulously into everyday wear. Florals add the perfect dose of femininity and innocence to an outfit. Here’s three looks I created while browsing on net-a-porter.com:

For those who prefer a girly style

Start with a floral print dress in a ladylike shape. For some edge, add a swipe of alluring red lipstick, skeleton- themed accessories, and killer studded pumps.

The perfect mix

Floor-sweeping maxi dresses make you look like a goddess, no matter how devilish you actually may be. When shopping for one, though, keep in mind large patterns can be overwhelming. Then, to balance the innocence of the style, cover up with a trendy white blazer. Final touches include a wild animal print clutch and spiked earrings.

For maximum edge, invest in a striking pair of floral printed pants. Then amp up the crazy even more by slipping on a contrasting print on top, like stripes. To polish it all up, add some statement accessories like this slightly morbid deer pendant and tangerine clutch (bonus points: tangerine is the Pantone Color of the Year).
